Things worth knowing
It leads to a relic, not to Santiago
Santo Toribio holds what is claimed to be the largest surviving piece of the True Cross, and is one of the few sites the Church grants a jubilee year of its own.
World Heritage since 2015
Listed with the Routes of Northern Spain, despite being one of the shortest waymarked Caminos in Spain.
Staying connected on the Camino Lebaniego
It stays inside Spain the whole way. Walked at an ordinary pace it takes about 3 days, so a plan needs to be valid for at least that long — the days start counting when the eSIM first connects on the trail, not when you buy it.
Coverage on the trail itself is good in towns and along the main valleys and thin in between — that is true of every network, and it is why the useful habit is downloading tomorrow's stage tonight rather than buying a bigger bundle.
