About us

An eSIM shop organised around Caminos, not around countries

Every other eSIM shop asks which country you are going to. That is the wrong question for a pilgrimage that starts in France, spends a month in Spain and finishes 764 kilometres later — so we ask which route you are walking instead, and do the arithmetic ourselves.

Why the route is the unit

A Camino Francés that starts in Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port spends its first day in France. A Camino Portugués starts on a Portuguese network and finishes on a Spanish one. A Camino Inglés is over in five days and needs nothing like a month of data. None of that is visible on a shop that sells you "Spain, 30 days, 10 GB".

So the catalogue here is indexed the other way round. Pick the route, and we read off the countries it crosses and show only the plans that cover all of them. Then you narrow it by the two things that actually decide the price — how long you are walking and how much data you use — and buy the plan at the intersection.

What you are actually buying

A prepaid, data-only eSIM profile from a wholesale supplier, delivered as a QR code by email within minutes of payment. Data-only matters: your own SIM stays in the phone for calls, texts and bank verification codes, and the eSIM carries the internet alongside it. You keep your number and you pay no roaming.

Nothing renews. Nothing subscribes you to anything. When the days run out the plan stops, and no card is charged a second time.

What we will not pretend

Spanish and Portuguese networks are good. They are not magic. Between the villages on the Meseta, on the high stages of the Primitivo and along parts of the Norte's cliff paths, your phone will drop to one bar or none — on any network, on any SIM, ours included. Anyone promising you otherwise has not walked it.

That is a reason to buy a plan sized for your days rather than a headline number of gigabytes, and to download tomorrow's stage tonight. It is not a reason to pay for "unlimited".

How the catalogue stays honest

Plans are pulled from the supplier's API on a schedule, landed in a staging table, and only published to the shop after they have been checked — a plan that quietly disappears upstream is withdrawn here rather than left on sale. Near-identical plans from the same country are collapsed down to the cheapest of the set, so the list you see is not padded with the same thing five times at five prices.

Prices are charged in euros through Stripe. Where we can tell roughly where you are, we show an approximate conversion next to the price as a courtesy; it is informational only, and never what your card is actually charged.

Who we are not

We are not affiliated with the Cathedral of Santiago, the Pilgrim's Office, or any of the friends-of-the-Camino associations. We sell mobile data and we organise it around their routes. The Compostela is between you and them.

Pick your Camino first

A Francés from Saint-Jean needs France as well as Spain; a Portugués needs Portugal. Tell us the route and the list below fills itself in.
